An informative educational talk on Herbs and Plants was organised, followed by a tea party – a perfect opportunity for learning and socialising. This event was generously sponsored by Sherries Garden Centre.
By popular demand, the Food Handling course was organised again at NCW premises.
The National Council of Women celebrated International Women’s Day 2026 with a special mass at St Patrick’s Church, Sliema.
The National Council of Women would like to congratulate NCW President Mary Gaerty, who received the Mara Award for Entrepreneurial Vision during the Mara Awards event organised on 6th March 2026.
Following the completion of the Digital Entrepreneurship Course in December 2025. a certificate giving ceremony was organised.
The NCW Annual General Meeting was held on Saturday 31st January 2026, and the new Executive Committee for 2026-2027 was elected.
In December, the NCW Foundation Day and Christmas Dinner was organised.
In September, representatives of the National Council of Women participated in an information visit to the European Commission and the European Parliament in Brussels.
The popular End of Summer Quiz Night was organised again in September.
The STEM Minis Summer Club was organised again by NCW Malta. This programme is offered entirely free of charge and it is run on a voluntary basis, with the aim of making a meaningful contribution to STEM engagement as from early childhood.
